Monday 27 April 2026 Morning Notes

I flipped a put condor in QCOM yesterday for +122% on Friday, and lost -50% in a put ratio in PG. Had I held the PG put ratio, it would have been good for +200%. However, had I held QCOM it would have expired worthless, so it goes in options land. And my QCOM position was 2x the size of my PG spread.

I also tacked on various trades in May options for MXL, looking for a continuation of a move higher. It seems like names that make explosive moves like this have a tendency for continued follow through. So even though the move it made was enormous, it doesn't mean it's going to immediately reverse. Though, maybe it will now that I have all kinds of positions on.
