Tuesday 08 September 2026 Morning Notes

Traded a 320 straddle in CIEN that I paid $9.60 for, quickly went up +30% on the open, pressed for more only for CIEN to close at basically $320. I was able to sell the straddle for $2.00 at EOD, which was $1.00 more than I was expecting. Of course, CIEN hits 335 in the first 20 mins of trade today. Another classic.

My kids have no school today so I don't plan on doing much.
