Monday 10 August 2026 Morning Notes

Traded two straddles on Friday, one in AXON that I flipped for +11% because I didn't think it was going to go anywhere, only to watch it run for over +150%. Meanwhile, I traded a straddle in SYM only to watch it trade in its tightest range in years following earnings, resulting in a -76% loss. Good times. I flipped a bunch of short puts in DOCS on Friday following a brief vol spike on its monster move higher. Always feels like playing with fire. 

Bunch of biotech names making big moves on FDA decisions this morning.
